Len met Doreen at the Palais in Bolton one New Year's Eve. They got married at Holy Trinity Church Bolton on Sept 11th 1954.

Andrew was born in 1957 and Angela in 1960. We lived at the Cycle shop in Egerton St until we moved to Plodder Lane in 1968.

We went on our first camping holiday in 1964 to Brittany. After that we went every year usually to Tenby or Falmouth during Bolton Holiday fortnight.

Dad taught us both to swim, ride a bike and drive a car. Not mention how to paint and hang wall paper. Probably a million other things too. Thanks dad!
